How Can headache Along With Jaw Pain be Treated?

A few hours back, I fell on the playground hitting my bum then my head on the floor. The floor was filled with tiny rocks since it is a playground. Once I got up, immediately my head started hurting and my jaw started hurting as well. As of now I have no pain in my bum, the back of my head only hurts a bit but my jaw still hurts and it is a bit difficult to move. Do I have a concussion?

Hi,

The jaw is very common to dislocate after fall or injury. So better to consult a dentist and get done X-ray of your jaw to rule out dislocation. If it is dislocated then you need to fix it. If X-ray is normal then no need to worry much.

Just take simple painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs like Ibuprofen and Thiocolchicoside. Apply warm water pad on affected areas of the jaw. Avoid foods that are hard to chew. Don't worry, you will be alright but get done X-ray of your jaw first.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
